Decision-Made Channel
DecisionMade is a YouTube channel operated by CedarHill Immigration Consulting, dedicated to sharing knowledge and information related to studying abroad and immigration in Canada. During my time as a Digital Marketing Specialist from 2022 to 2024, I produced, edited, published, and promoted over 200 videos for this channel. These efforts significantly enhanced CedarHill’s brand visibility and customer acquisition. More than 60% of our clients first developed trust and interest in our company after watching the carefully crafted video content on this YouTube channel, gaining a deeper understanding of study and immigration topics, and eventually choosing to sign service agreements with us. Below are examples of some of these videos.
This is one of a series of videos that introduce 15 well-known colleges in Canada. This particular video features Algonquin College, where I completed a two-year program. The speaker is Frank Yu, a licensed Canadian immigration consultant and my employer. I designed and created the video series’ intro, main interface, slides, and thumbnail, as well as handled the editing and publishing of the videos.
This is one of the videos from the series titled “10 Talks on Visa Fraud”, which focuses on important considerations when applying for a work permit at the Canadian border. By sharing several typical cases, the video helps viewers understand how to successfully obtain work permit approvals. I was responsible for editing, designing, and publishing this video series.
This is one of the videos from the series where Frank interviews our clients. In these videos, we invited new immigrants from 10 different Canadian cities to share their personal stories about studying, living, and working in Canada. Topics include why they chose Canada, comparisons between Canada and their home countries, and how they have experienced Canada’s inclusiveness. I produced and edited this video series. The client featured in this episode is from Sudbury.
This is our New Year's Eve live stream from December 31, 2022, which lasted over 4 hours. During the stream, Frank reviewed study and immigration policies from 2022, discussed key factors for immigration success, introduced our consulting team, shared client stories about studying and immigrating to Canada, and answered a wide range of audience questions. I was involved in planning this live stream, designed and created the opening sequence and the main OBS interface, and provided real-time technical support behind the scenes throughout the broadcast.
This is one of our weekly live streams, and in this episode, Frank discussed key considerations for studying in Canada in 2024 and answered questions from the audience. My main responsibilities included providing technical support behind the scenes and publishing the live stream announcement.
